Unique passive single-sided anti-decubitus mattress for stages II – III

• this mattress has been designed for patients who are at medium risk of developing pressure ulcers (20 -17 of Norton Scale);
• high of mattress is 15 cm in standard;
• the memory foam (thermoactive viscoelastic foam) resting area is joined by a 3-zone puzzle (no glue) lock with the base layer made of elastic and air-permeable resilient foam (FLEXIFOAM® FF) with a more open- cell structure for improved ventilation of the bed. The foam has increased resilience against long-term pressure;
• besides an air gap, the no-glue joint between memory foam and elastic foam also features special drop-shaped ventilation channels, which act as an air pump – every movement of the patient’s body helps exchange air in the mattress core, thereby protecting the patient against moist and overheating. Moreover, they enable better positioning – profiling of hospital bed (bending of mattress) – and maintain the shape of the mattress better even if it is not loaded;
• apart from conventional bed bases, the mattress can also be placed on slatted or lamella bed bases and solid boards with ventilation perforation;
• cover is made of PU upholstery fabric, in a combination of ultrasonic weld and stitching, of highly elastic and robust four-way stretch material, soft, pleasant surface, without rubber appearance. This is removable and washable up to 95°C, highly breathable, allowing disinfectant wiping, impermeable to liquids, mites and moulds, and permeable to vapours. Zipper design: 3-sided. The zipper is covered with a protective drip flap. The cover is provided with a permanent marking of the head and foot parts for easy handling, respectively control over the regular rotation of the mattress (facilitation for the nursing staff), even if the mattress has a symmetrical construction of zone division.
